All About Learning is one of the best reading curriculum options available for homeschoolers. We use it for our kindergarten homeschool student, and I couldn’t be more impressed. There are no gaps in learning how to read, and its incredibly simple, open-and-go lessons take the stress out of teaching reading. There’s no crazy prep work, and the kit we use includes everything we need to be successful.
Also, my very fidgety son loves it! There are lots of games and activities to keep it interesting, which is super helpful for moms with wiggly little people. The program stresses the concept of spending just 20 minutes per day on instruction, and it has proven to be highly effective at our house. It’s long enough to be productive, but not so long that we struggle to get it accomplished. It has been a joy to see my son learn how to read in just 20 minutes per day.
