Gift Guide for Moms of Littles

Free Resources

If you know a homeschool mom, odds are she is one busy lady! Staying at home and educating your children is a true labor of love. Most moms put their children’s needs before their own, and that can be exhausting. If you’re shopping for Christmas gifts for a homeschool mom in your life, you’re in luck. I’m going to share some of my favorite gift ideas for homeschool moms to help you score something great this season.

Subscription boxes

Homeschool moms are usually busy juggling all their kids most of the time. Shopping for yourself can be a real challenge. One thing I really love are my subscription boxes. I get a box from Stitchfix once a month, and a box from Fabfitfun quarterly. I sure look forward to these treats for myself! I also love that I don’t have to leave the house to shop for clothes if I don’t want to.

Stitchfix has been styling me for the past four years. I love it!
Fabfitfun is a great way to try new products at a fraction of the typical retail cost!

Office supplies

If I’m being honest, I get really excited about school supply shopping. Something about those fresh materials makes me think of new beginnings and possibilities. Some of my favorite supplies are pens! I stash them everywhere and never have too many. I love the Pilot G2 and the Papermate Flair. They both make me smile when I use them! And don’t forget Ticonderoga pencils; they’re hands-down the best pencils for school.

Calendars and Planners

Juggling a family and homeschool can be a daunting task for anyone. One way to keep everything moving is having systems for maintaining the family’s schedule. Planners and calendars are such helpful tools for homeschool moms. There are lots of options, but my favorite is The Happy Planner. Not only are they functional, they come in a zillion fun styles for every kind of gal you know.

Manicures, pedicures, and massages

Homeschool moms don’t always have the time or resources for self-care spending. Giving the gift of time at the salon or spa will be so appreciated! Everyone needs to recharge their batteries now and then. This is especially true of moms. Send that lady for some pampering and she will be super grateful! Find out her favorite local spot and send her off for some well-deserved alone time. If you don’t think she will be able to sneak off for a couple hours, consider a gift basket instead.

Books that Inspire and Encourage

Modeling reading is something that most homeschooling parents strive to do. What better gift than a good book? There are countless options, but I think every parent can benefit from some inspiration and encouragement.

Aprons

If you know a gal who likes to get busy in the kitchen, then get that gal an apron. There’s nothing worse than a dreaded grease stain on your favorite shirt. There are lots of styles of apron to choose from, and you’ll surely find one to suit any cook on your gift list this year.

Stemless wine glasses

With kids running around, I know that I prefer stemless wine glasses . Their sturdier bottoms keep them from being easily knocked over. They’re also easier to load in the dishwasher. Save your momma friend some time, and grab her some stemless wine glasses this year.

Shearling slippers

Schlepping around the house all day means most homeschooling moms are on their feet a lot. Many moms of littles don’t wear shoes in the house (umm, hello germs), so some cozy slippers are a great gift! I love wearing slippers when I’m running around the house all day. Make sure to get the kind with rubber soles for extra

Photo albums

This may seem like an outdated idea, but I love my photo albums. When my husband buys me photo albums, I then immediately want to fill them. It is a great way to encourage me to actually PRINT photos, instead of letting them live solely in the digital world. Also, my kids love to look at the albums and reminisce about fun memories, and it’s great that they can do it without being plugged in to a screen.

Jewelry

Not all moms love jewelry,  but I’m not one of those! I love classic, personalized jewelry options. One of my favorite places to get cute charms and on-trend jewelry is Stella And Dot! You will definitely be able to find something awesome for any lady in your life.

I hope this gift guide inspires you with ideas for fun gifts for homeschool moms. Heck, any mom for that matter! I know that sometimes it is tricky to come up with thoughtful gifts for the people in our lives. It is my hope that this may help you to have some fresh ideas for things the moms in your life just might love! Happy shopping and Merry Christmas!
